Marquee sizes and capacity
Every footprint we offer is built from four modules — 3×3 m, 4×4 m, 6×3 m and 6×4 m — joined together. That means a 6×8 m marquee is two 6×4 m units side by side. As a rule of thumb, allow about 1 m² per standing guest and 1.2–1.5 m² per guest seated at long tables, plus extra space for a bar, cake table or dance floor.

What to know before you book
Surfaces and anchoring
Marquees install on grass, pavers, concrete, decking or asphalt. On grass we peg the frame; on hard surfaces we use weights instead, so tell us the surface when you enquire and we'll bring the right anchoring.
Sides and walls
Marquees can be left fully open, or fitted with side walls on one or more sides for wind, late afternoon sun, privacy or rain. Let us know which sides you'd like closed.
Lighting, heating and flooring
Add marquee lighting at $30 per marquee for evening events and a marquee heater at $30 each for cooler months. Marquees are supplied without flooring and are set up directly on your surface.
Setup and dismantle
Our team delivers, assembles and dismantles every marquee — there is nothing for you to build. Allow access before your start time for setup, and let us know your finish time so we can schedule the pack-down.
Access
We need a clear path from where the van can park to the setup point. Narrow side gates, steep driveways, stairs, lifts or long carries are all workable, but tell us in advance so we can allow the extra time.
Weather
Marquees handle rain and normal Melbourne conditions. In high winds or severe weather we may need to add side walls, adjust the position or, for safety, recommend postponing the setup — we'll contact you as early as we can. Booking, cancellation and postponement terms are set out on our terms page.
